Wang Weijun, born in April 1965, Ph.D., professor, doctoral tutor, member of Huazhong Normal University Teaching Committee, and deputy director of Information Management Department. In 2001 he received his Management Ph.D Degree at Wuhan University. In 2004, he completed a course in mobiles station for the post-doctors of Management Science and Engineering at Wuhan University of technology. August 2004-January 2005, he conducted collaborative research and academic exchanges in the United States.
Since 2001, he has been working at Department of Information and Management inHuazhong Normal University. He is deputy director and member of Teaching Committee in Huzhong Normal University. He is also executive director and associate secretary-general of China Information Economics Society E-Commerce Professional Committee, executive director and academic committee of Hubei Provincial Library Association, executive director of Hubei Province Information Society, deputy director of Professional Education Committee and editor of the core journal“Information Science” magazine and academic steering committee of the "Intelligence Information Work". In addition, he is member of International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) Working Group on E-commerce and E-services (WG6, 11), president of the seventh IFIP E-commerce, E-services and E-society (I3E2007) International Conference, evaluation expert of foundation items such as the National Natural Science Fund. |
