Hello, my name is Christine. I am the human resources manager of an investment company. Our company is mainly dealing with the corporate finance and also fixed income businesses and our employees are recruited from a number of countries in the world. Err... yes. I met one candidate before. He was very impressive because, like, he has very full preparation on our company during the interview and he conduct, like, good research on the company's core business and also the industry. He was not only, like, memorising and telling the interviewer all the financial figures like robot. I could see that he did a lot of homework on our company. And on himself, he greet and also with a firm handshake with the interviewer and also a smile - very sincere. And also he close the interview also by very warm handshake and also a genuine thank-you. So... and also... like... on himself, he has a very thorough preparation, for example, he listen and also think very carefully before he's answering the questions and also he speak very clearly and confidently. Also he use, like... very practical examples to illustrate his skills and show that he suit the role and also the company. And also, I can see that he show very... like... eagerness on... for the role. So that's the most impressed... like... candidate I have met so far. Err... in fact I have met two candidates. There were two cases. One of the candidates is too arrogant. The candidate... like... was talking too much, like pride about himself and how capable he was... looks like that sooner or later he will become to CEO of the company. I think... like... most employers prefer... like... humble type rather than arrogant type. I think the employer... like... can find out how capable the candidate will be if they decide to give them a job offer. So I don't think... like... boast yourself is the best approach during the interview. And another candidate also... who messed up during the interview process is too shy. The candidate was too shy to talk and only provide one-word answer. So we don't have any chance to explore... like... further on a candidate's experience and also ability.
